Honda Unicorn (Honda indian motorcycles)

Honda Unicorn (Honda indian motorcycles)

Honda is here and has entered with a bang. As name predicts this bike is going to give run for money in the premium segment of bikes. With a 50,043 (Delhi) Honda Unicorn is just going to flip the market. The USP for Honda Unicorn is its monoshock suspension system which returns after a long break. But it is much more then rear suspension but it is also unique within range of Honda Motorcycles which is built keeping Indian customer in mind.

Honda designed its bike keeping its research data in mind which says people in India buy motorcycles in premium segment looking at acceleration, fuel economy (not less than 55 kpl), styling, ride comfort and stability, reliability and price as factors in the purchase decision, in that order of importance. By this result Honda built 13.3 bhp, 149.1cc engine with 1.3 kgm of torque at 5500 rpm.

Honda unicorn uses 5 speed gearbox, CV carburettor and digital ignition system with multiple maps to balance high acceleration. Honda claims the mileage to be 60kpl and a sports 17-inch wheels.

Honda is going to invest Rs 500 crore in new model development. The new Honda Unicorn motorcycle will be directly competting with Hero Honda, leader of entry-level bike market.

Hello everyone, I own a Honda Unicorn and i can tell you that its the best 150cc bike there is! the best part is the smooth silky engine. the gearbox is as slick as it gets and the balance is tremendous!

biking feels effortless on this machine. pulsar and cbz feel like bullock carts in comparison, really!!

SIR IM UR CUSTOMER OWNING HONDA UNICORN FORM UR BRANCH AT VISAKHAPATNAM, ANDHRA PRADESH, INDIA. THING IS THAT IM HAPPY WITH FEW CHARACTERISTICS OF THE BIKE BUT BOTH THE SERVICING CENTERS IN THIS CITY ARE IN VERY PATHETIC CONDITION FOR CUSTOMER SATISFACTION BUT THEIR MOTTO IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. i here by inform u to change the whole staff or train them TO deal with the customers very affectionately. every day i find one or the other chap quarrelling with the staff, this may because of the general service and very reserved mentalities. pls keep a keen interest on this branch . the product is very good, there is no doubt but the staff is putting the sales down. all over the town, i challenge if the staff will respond well the sales will be doubling. i just wanted to inform u as i want good products be recognised because of good office staff also.

Hi i live by my Unicorn. it is at par with best american bikes. But there they look down on everything below 750 cc. Even so as a biker with 17- year experience in US, UK, Continent and japan I vouch for Unicorn. But Pulsar Is a damn good bike. Comparison Is difficult LikeBMW& Merc.

Hi,

This is to inform u that unicorn wen compared with other bikes on mileage, power its too good, but the only concern it has is the mono shock, 99% of the customers have a isssue only with its mono shock, if a customer feed back is taken on unicorn u will get to know about this issue,
As a customer my only request to honda is to pls change its mono shock to a normal one & m sure with this small alteration, the bikes sale wud increase and drop the sale of bajaj pulsar on indian roads.
Thanks
