Yesterday My Activa was not working. I had gone for Repair to Satnam Motors. He not given proper response, He not given delivery withpay payment. At last I had paid Rs. 812 to him. Hi, Mr Babulal, there is no point in pleading with the fellow. If you are still in the free service period, just hold his collar and ask him to do it if he does it not do it on requests. Might only works in some places.
dear mr babulal,i want to buy a honda activa from jodhpur. but in jodhpur there is only one dealer who is always saying the scooter is out of stock. right now what he is saying that there is strike in the honda factory.so you cannot buy the schooter now you have to book the scooter and wait for two months. is that true in this time when auto mobile industry is in such a big comptiotion.

I am B.Sivashankar, purchased HONDA Activa (Gold) with Reg. No. TN37 AJ 4353 from the Dealer M/s Chandra Honda, Coimbatore during December 2004.
After 7700 km, i.e 17-Feb-2006, my HONDA Activa gave a trouble.
The trouble was, In HONDA engineering the silencer exhaust dome is being supported by a bolt, which has been fastened with the other part of the vehicle body. On 17-Feb-2006 while driving, suddenly the mentioned bolt got sheared off and the total exhaust dome weight acted upon the exhaust pipe. Due to this the exhaust pipe got cut producing a louder noise.
Due to this, till returning back to my home, I felt ashamed (even the road public) to drive my HONDA Activa.
Within 14 months of purchase this type of breakdown has caused. Is the HONDA products only work without any problem during the 12 months (during warranty)? I am really ashamed to have a HONDA product due to this incident.

Yesterday I went to Honda showroom at Aluva , Kochi ,Kerala [Aryabhangy] to buy a Honda Activa.
To my great shock and surprise, the showroom Manager told me that I could not buy the scooter unless I buy accesories worth Rs. 2500/-. I cannot really make out the neccessity of such a purchase, as I really dont require that kind of accesories for my scooter. So I would like to state here that these kind of dealers and incidents will not do good for the brand 'Honda'.
As I am very passionate about Honda brand, I still stick to my decision of purchasing Honda Activa . But I do not want to deal with the above said dealer of yours, who is very uncourteous and arrogant to a passionate customer like me.

I have brought honda activa in July 2006 from Swaroop Honda in Delhi. I experiencing starting problem. I told about this to the forman when I took my scootor for the first service at the honda service center. After service also the same problem still there. I again went to the service center and explained about the problem in detail. I was shocked to hear from the forman that, starting problem is there in all honda self start scooter. Even after appling chock, I find the same problem. I even send a mail to the compamy, but till date date I have not got any reply from them.

My name is jagadeesh ,i would like to lodge a complaint.I brought a bike for service to your show room situated in adyar situated at kasturi bhai nagar on 02-01-2007 .However i am disappointed to say that i am dissatisfied with the service rendered . the service personnels's approach towards the customer is arrogant , conceited and they do not care about the customers wants. They said to me that they cannot hear my complaint because THEY ARE BUSY. i have never seen this arrogant approach in any other company.They seem to think that others are jobless and can wait forever. Hello, I bought my Activa last march.from Ishan Motors alwar .Everything is absolutely fine bout with my scooter,but i wud like to ask that are there any modifications available for Activa?Also could u suggest any good customised performance kits.
I juist buy Honda Activa and get shocked, if you bye the Activa by down payment waiting time is 40 to 45 or if you get the finance you get in 10 to 15 days. Customer is ready for payment but dealer or company not interested to cash byer they all want only that customer pay more & more interest to the comapny or dealer only.

Honda Activa Motorcycles are really nice particularly for the family persons; but the only thing is that if the engineers think of releasing vehicles which can give still more mileage; it becomes best & No.1 in the market.
I have purchased one Honda Activa (Travel only 1000Km), about 5-6 month before .I am facing some problem
in my Activa (SMALL JET) which is in warranty period . I contacted HONDA INDIA customer service but didnot get any resolution to my problem.

useless pieces of junk.But I have no choice till Bajaj,Vespa plan something big.
Activa is front heavy and wet roads
I have fallen many times.Spark plug cleaning is a big pain.You go to a mechanic they open the valve head to make money out of you.
Tuff up tube is a big racket.I changed to normal ceat tubes.I faced three times sudden air jetting out during tube puncture while driving in tuff ups.Sent the tube in which fluid doesnot dry to the HQ still no reply.
The big bosses at HQ are so confused lot they think Honda is golden brand, but it is not.
all the components are produced with cheap technology at Ludhiana and delhi.Using very cheap pistons rings etc, still using cast iron cylinder, no digital ignition mapping.
It is a 50 year old technology of Honda Cub ,like CD 100 still fooling Indian people.

I had purchase Honda Activa from Silicon Honda Bangalore.
Silicon Honda doesnt give proper service. Their service is horrible. Yesterday I gave my Active for servicing. Morning I kept the vehicle and gave my complaints. It was free servicing.I went in the evening to collect the vehicle. They have not even tocuhed the vehicle and the vehicle was in the same position where i kept in the morning and they have charged 140 bugs. When brough it to their notice nobody is bothered about it and they were very casual and they were telling it as a small mistake and they have eoverlooked.

option currently i have is to tie with a chain. Since activa has small tyres and no spoke pattern, i

I had purchased honda in January2008, though the vehicle performance is ok, I am facing lot of problems in regard to servicing. Service centers have limited facilities, for getting your vehicle serviced, you have to stand in queue for 2 or 3 hrs and the sales people approach is not at all good.
I have been shifted to mumbai and staying in Bandra E . I have brought in my Activa here . I forgot to bring in the mannual of my scooter . i don`t want to visit the galiwala mechanic. no else is helping me neither i am able to find on google search .

Halo pls hold it....i dont agree with the negative comments here in this blog. I have been using my Activa for the past 5 years and believe me the pick up is still the same when i took the delivery. I mean its stable sturdy and reliable. The engine is sooo smooth, if you care your vehicle properly, it will be as same as a new one. I read one person had written that he/she had fallen many times from that. If it was once or twice then you can blame the vehicle....many times.....then surely something wrong with the way he/she rides.

I went date-13/06/08 for the third free servicing of my scooter. I request them if possible please give me my bike as early as posssible because I have to come for servicing from at leat 15-18 kilometer away from the servicing station.
But they did not given my bike on the said time. I complanied it to the manager of Shri Ram Bike he did not behaave properly and next day when I went to get the bike my bike was not in service station it was kept out side of service station and not even washed,and I think it was not even properly serviced also. Then again I asked them about what is this then every one was pointing towards each other.
Kindly take strict action against such dealers and service stations.
Your company is really wounmderful and only in Ahmednagar I thnik after every one home one Honda Activa is here, but Delar is only one therfore customer is not satisfied with service and not at all polite staff.

now they are not releasing the paper of insurance n RC
because i lost the service book
they need service book because they do some miss entry in that book

The only reason you would buy Honda Activa today is that there is no other good option available. In case you've decided to buy or have already bought then be prepared for the following problems.
- Mileage(Avg Kms/litre) will drop
- Kick will jam frequently, and you'll realize this when the battery is weak or the whether is cold. Replacement of a part worth around Rs. 50/-
- Silencer pipe will crack and will cost more than Rs. 3500/- for repairs
- Shocker oil will leak
- Engine valves leak much sooner than you expect, even if you do city driving only. Rs. 6000/- for repairs
- Poor service. Most of the times, the water, mud will still be sticking to the scooter when it is returned
- Poor service. Idling speed adjustment incorrect
- Poor service. Battery acid spilled on the body. Service-in-charge will mention that it is 'normal' !!

The honda activa showroomat alwaye is a froad one.they are cheaters. i went to enquire about activa ,they show me some other new brand scooter and said it is good and have milage 65kmpl only 1500 (round) extra for that.Now i decided to publish their froad behavior to the medias.with solid proof

This is to bring into your kind notice that on Saturday i.e. 05.09.2009 I had given my vehicle (MH 04 CY 6281) for servicing at V.D.Autowheels which is authorized Showroom & service centre for Honda Activa.
Regret to inform you that when I went there after confirming that my vehicle is serviced or not at 3:45pm, my vehicle was in as it is condition when I had left in Morning for servicing.
Morning when I went there to get my vehicle serviced through authorized service centre of Honda Activa I was very much assured that vehicle would be serviced properly & all my problems will be solved. At the time of giving vehicle for servicing I have been told by Mr.Vikas Choudhary that as this is paid service you will be charged for below mentioned services:
Rs.170 for Servicing.
Rs.154 for changing engine oil
Rs.220 for M Oil for giving good mileage
Rs.100 as Handling Charges as we have to send vehicle to our service centre which is situated at Mayapuri.
As I have mentioned above that when I went there in evening, vehicle was in as it is condition i.e. in same condition I left in the morning this clearly states that vehicle has not gone to service station for servicing.When I enquired I got response that we normally don't send vehicle to service station for serving to save our & customers time, we do servicing here only. So, as a customer I have asked him not to charge handling charges from me in that case as vehicle has not gone to service station for servicing. He said, we charge Rs.100 for washing then I asked what is included in Rs.170, he said this is labour charges washing is not included in this which I cannot believe because in servicing washing is included. After all these discussions, at the time of preparing bill I asked Mr.Vikas Choudhary to write in bill that you have charged Rs.100 for washing which he refused to write. At last I have mentioned that thing in bill.
When these types of answers were coming I started loosing trust in that dealer and asked about changing of engine oil & M Oil, I got answer that it is already been changed then I asked him when you are doing everything in front of me why you have changed these two things earlier, then he said it is your fault in morning only you would have asked that these 2 things should be changed in front of me only.
At last I got my vehicle at 6pm.
Request you to intervene in this matter & arrange to return Rs.100.
Most important assured me that Engine Oil & M Oil has been changed in my vehicle.
Can any one give me the email addresses of the senior persons like MD, CEO of Honda Two Wheelers India Pvt. Ltd. I want to lodge a complaint agaoinst a dealer.
