The looks of Innova indicates that it is a MPV and its going to give brand new look never seen before in the Indian auto scenario. The shape of the body gives it a drag coefficient of 0.35 which is going to be an advantage with fuel efficiency at higher speeds.

The car is coming in 5 different trims. The "E" trim gets air conditioning as standard equipment minus power steering. Best for fleet operators. The "V" model gets all the goodies with air conditioning, cd players, twin airbags etc.

The engine for Toyota Innova has 2.5 ltr. Common rail direct injection 4 stroke diesal engine that makes 102 bhp and other is 2.0 liter, petrol with variable valve timing giving 136 bhp. The diesel is certainly going to be best seller. The 16-valve common rail diesel engine has a variable nozzle turbo and a 32 bit processor to have a complete control over combustion process.
